MARCH! HUZZAH!

January and February had their fun moments, but in March I plan to kick some asses and take some names.

Here’s what I love about this month:

Those first melty days when you can feel spring trying to push through winter…

My little brother’s twelfth birthday (March 16).  My dilemma is whether or not to buy him an X-Box 360. I know he would love it. My mother, not so much.

St. Patrick’s Day: A great excuse to celebrate my faux Irish roots by drinking in the middle of the week.  Also, there’s corned beef and cabbage.

THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING! March 20!

DPI reunion in Chicago: The three girls who I roomed with at the University of Denver in 2006 were my life/career support during my first year in Dubuque and they continue to be  positive forces in my life.  I can’t wait to catch up with them and let loose in Chicago!

About Restless Cube Dweller

Most of my adult life has been defined finding homes in unconventional places, and learning to interact positively with others. I've lived in the middle of nowhere, in small cities, in large cities, in the suburbs, and now in Dubuque, Iowa. This blog represents my musings about growing up, moving on, finding love, and eating well in the suburbs and beyond.
