Get Thee to a Nunnery

CE and I celebrated International Women’s Day yesterday by walking across the Julien Dubuque Bridge at 4 pm.

Little did we know that we would be walking with a convent of sweet Franciscan nuns…

and some well-meaning hippies.

We tried our best not to be crass.

Giving war the finger.

F***ing honk for peace!

Race me to Mulgrew's for a chili dog!

About Restless Cube Dweller

Most of my adult life has been defined finding homes in unconventional places, and learning to interact positively with others. I've lived in the middle of nowhere, in small cities, in large cities, in the suburbs, and now in Dubuque, Iowa. This blog represents my musings about growing up, moving on, finding love, and eating well in the suburbs and beyond.

I was not dressed appropriately. note to self: for future marches, ballet flats are not adequate

Wow, I’ve always wanted to bike across that bridge. It must have been a chilly walk.
