Good-bye Taurus. Hello Thunderfoot.

Thunderfoot in the suburbs

I recently traded in my old Ford Taurus for a Honda Accord. The Taurus and I had some good times driving back and forth across Iowa, getting pelted with hail, taking multiple “scenic” routes in Dubuque, making huge hauls from IKEA, and slinking guiltily through drive-through windows late at night, but alas, with 150,000 miles on it and many engine parts failing, it was time to trade up the Taurus.

The Accord is smaller, sturdier, and more economical. It looks like a thunder cloud and it causes me to have a lead foot; therefore, its name is Thunderfoot.

About Restless Cube Dweller

Most of my adult life has been defined finding homes in unconventional places, and learning to interact positively with others. I've lived in the middle of nowhere, in small cities, in large cities, in the suburbs, and now in Dubuque, Iowa. This blog represents my musings about growing up, moving on, finding love, and eating well in the suburbs and beyond.
